The Navajo Code Talkers received recognition only until the operation was declassified in 1968. The code talkers were given a Certificate of Recognition in 1982 by President Ronald Reagan and August 14 became "National Code Talkers Day."  Every day should be "National Code Talkers Day."

Local artists designed a motorcyle to auction off to establish
