On December 21, at 7:04 in the morning the sun will turn back toward the sun marking Winter Solstice. Winter Solstice is the shortest day and the longest night of the year. The weather forecast is 3 days and nights of falling snow (accumulation of up to 24") so it will be a while before I notice any increase in daylight hours.
Still, I count my blessings, every one.
If you are lucky enough to be in NYC December 18, 19, 20th check out the Winter Solstice Concert
Return of the Sun held at the world's largest cathedral
Happy Solstice!!
